Holiday List

I’m known for a few things.
I cannot for the life of me tell a joke right. I will either tell the ending first, stumble through the whole delivery, or just laugh too much that it somehow turns out to be funnier to laugh at me instead. Known also for my impersonations or lack thereof! I just cannot understand, that with the hours I’ve spent practicing different accents I can’t do any correctly. ANY!
But the main thing everyone knows about me is my list writing skills when I’m packing for a holiday.
Yes I may have a touch of OCD (Obsessive–compulsive disorder) as I do draft up three lists total, but it has proven very helpful for me. Friends do laugh but unlike a good friend of mine who travels three to four times a month lets just call her Lucy, previously went on a weekend away and forgot to bring shoes! Lucy who is a girl forgot to bring shoes. To combat this anxiety I enjoy writing up my three lists.

List One is just a test run so to speak. I will write out the days and nights I will be away, and the events on each day so I can plan each outfit accordingly.
List One
List Two will be in more depth.
Example Day One: 8th November Flight Outfit. I will write in what I plan to wear and even note socks and underwear in this list (as I did go on a foreign holiday once with only the underwear on me at the time. Sorry Lucy I feel bad now) I will make note of jewellery I want to wear with the outfit what handbag, shoes even factoring in a hair bobbin if I want to sleep on the fight (I’m that crazy with my list)

List Three is the final list. I will have all my outfits ready and selected. Trying to lighten the load by now looking to see if a pair of shoes or boots can be used for other days and outfits on the trip.
Toiletries, hairbrushes, make-up and creams will all go on a separate list. So I suppose you can say I write up four lists in all.

It’s now 32 days until I fly to Toronto Canada, to see my best friend Sarah for her 30th Birthday. That is my List One done so I’ll now be starting the second in the coming days. As I even type this up, the music from the game Tetris is playing in my head.
This happens every time I’m physically packing my suitcase. It’s like playing a real life game because if you can’t fit everything in you can’t take these things away. Tip: Always roll your clothes that way they won’t crease as much, and it’s actually easier to fit more in when you roll them.

I plan going into more detail with packing and toiletries I will be bringing as I get closer to my holiday.

I’ll leave you this evening with another gem that people know of me.
My suitcases.
My suitcases xxx
To me I feel like Carrie Bradshaw when I have them next to me. The colour and shape of them are just the business, but if you ever see me using them, well that tells another story. It wont stand up, as the case is a half moon shape it rolls over if you don’t hold it constantly. Also the wheels like to do their own thing. I wheel right so my case goes left naturally. Everyone laughs when I take them out for a trip, but I adore them. When waiting on your luggage and everyone’s cases look the same, it’s hard to find your own, but not mine!

Back soon.
